Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit was an Indian actress, who is famous for her roles in the movies 'Beta' Saajan' and 'Hum Hain Koun' . Her professional career started in the early 1980s. She gained fame through her part as a supporting actress in the film Tezaab. In the movie 'Dil, she appeared alongside Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class household in Mumbai, she started learning dance at an early age. When she was a child was attempting acting, she was unsuccessful for several years. She was eventually successful and was one of the most well-known actors in Indian cinema. After her wedding the couple separated but went back to the entertainment business. Recently, she had an integral part of the film "Gulaab Gang" that focused on the triumphs and struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. She won eight. She also received the Padma Shri, the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. She is well-known for her social work and also for her charitable work.
