She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first position was in the Real Estate Industry. This is how she met her future husband Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed great success through 2008, but then the market plummeted and a lot of house flippers as well as real estate investors went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa had a chance to be financially bankrupted after the crash in stocks of 2008. When they moved from their home that cost them $6,000 per year to a place that was $700, they were close to losing all their possessions. Their company, as well as the economy as a whole, gradually rebounded. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek asked an acquaintance to create a HGTV video audition in 2011 featuring him along with Christina flipping over a house. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. The executives fell in love to Tarek, Christina and their story. The couple in 2012 reached a deal with HGTV. Then, in April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" premiered. In seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. Christina and Tarek purchased houses in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. They spent the next weeks renovating the house so they could flip it into a profitable return. Tarek is in charge of the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.
