Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project and is a key member of the multilateral GI-TOC engagement. Research conducted by the GITOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances or other acts of violence, particularly in the context of illicit economy. Her research interests also involve the effects of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula has an LL.M. with a laude cum (with the highest distinction) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. The graduate holds an LL.M. degree from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a licensed lawyer working at the law firm which specialized in civil litigation in public law for nearly four years. She also has held range of positions as an assistant at two non-governmental organizations, Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
